Warning: Visible Nail Line disclaimer. Certain of the following images contain graphic VNL. If you are VNL-averse, then please avoid this post like candyfloss. LOL!
Chanel 629 Atmosphere, Orly Naked Canvas. This last is a grey-leaning buff with a subtle violet flash in the bottle, even more visible on the nail. A perfect base for the show-stopper next door.
1x Orly Naked Canvas, 1x Chanel Atmosphere.
Paul & Joe Beaute Spring 2014 packaging.
Above and below, Paul & Joe Spring 2014 038 Petunia, 036 Lily
On index finger, 2x Lily with 1x Petunia on an uneven 1/3 of tips only.
Floss Gloss BritBrit2000. Named after Britney Spears’ sheer, sparkly stage attire at the 2000 VMAs.
Paul & Joe 05, Crystal Sugar
Bandaged middle finger, 3x BritBrit2000. Bandaged ring finger, 3x Crystal Sugar. Pinky, 3x Golden Rose Paris Magic Color 305, below. With these girly shades and poorly disguised kitchen injuries on my hands, I feel like a prototype for the art department of a Sofia Coppola movie.
Above and below, Golden Rose Paris Magic Color 305. Gold flakes in a peachy pink base.
Catrice 58 Meet Me A Paris. Sheer pearl with pink microshimmer flash. I wasn’t expecting much from this varnish, but it’s the most flattering of the bunch for me. On thumb, three coats. It looked great at one and two, as well. I hope Catrice’s contract with their dodgy bottle/brush supplier ends stat. The current brushes are the worst in the business, and we pay more for them than for the oldies but goodies!
Above and below, variations on the previously shown varnishes:
Right index: 1x Golden Rose 305, 1x Floss Gloss BritBrit2000
Right middle: 2x Chanel Atmosphere, 1x Paul & Joe Petunia on tips. I was looking forward to this combination, but it bombed. The P&J glitters get lost in Atmosphere and just look gritty.
Right ring: 1x Floss Gloss BritBrit2000, 1x Paul & Joe Crystal Sugar. This turned out to be a nice surprise. Subtler and less juvenile together than apart.
Right pinky: 1x Orly Naked Canvas, 1x Catrice Meet Me A Paris, 1x Paul & Joe Petunia, entire nail. Unique, if slightly streaky and grainy.

Final final of my kiddy-adorned but still middle-aged left hand. 🙂

The final chapter of this series. I swatched these long ago and was none too anxious to show you the results. The blue and teal turned out okay, but the gold-greens… those little Golden Roses have been in my collection for a mere 3.5 years untried, but they were very dry, and I haven’t yet added thinner, as I don’t know if it’s worth the effort. Let’s take a gander.
If you’d like a more comprehensive look at blue holos, please go here. This final post consists of blue, teal, then yellow-green holos I’ve not shown yet, with Catrice Haute Future LE C01 Eletrix Blu as the touchstone.
My bottle of China Glaze Wireless Holographic Top Coat leans gold-green. I’ve seen other online images where it looks more silver. I’ve never seen it in shops, so don’t know how it “should” appear… the other holos pictured above are warm gold-greens with exception of Golden Rose 113 on the far right. It’s a cool silvery green, and so pretty in the wonky bottle.
The weather is dramatically beautiful this Saturday since it rained last night and is half-sunny, half-cloudy today. But it’s not a good day to take photos of holos, and indoors, at that…
These are gold-green, they truly are… Rivka VIP Vanessa is an absolute knockout, just like her namesake Vanessa on Gossip Girl, actress Jessica Szohr. My photos turned out terrible, due to changeable weather, not to speak of my mood… I’m highly impatient with a “just want to get it done” attitude. These have been sitting around for far too long, and I have oh so much to complete and new stuff to show you.
Layla Gold Idol is practically holo in the dark… she’s a loud and flashy bottle blonde orange-bronzed Roman tigress stepping out in head-to-toe Versace print.
The green is nowhere in sight in these images, but each of these has her proportion of green.

Done! No more holos in my possession. Of course, that status is always subject to change. 🙂

Moving on to the purple end of the spectrum… yes, I realize this is somewhat of a chromatic stretch, but once I push through the rainbow employing the holo trio in the Catrice Haute Future LE collection as benchmarks, I will have featured my entire holographic varnish collection 🙂

Golden Rose 109 – cowlicky brush and formula this go-round. Needed multiple coats to reach its potential. Scattered subtle holo that leans more purple than Color Club Fashion Addict. Golden Rose used to be my pet brand for subtle holos; this one didn’t make the cut…
Color Club Fashion Addict – long spindly brush making for streaks and thin application. Big disappointment, although it does grant you a linear holo for your trouble.
Nubar Treasure – four coats to reach its final glory, but they were a smooth, buttery pleasure, treasure, to apply. More raspberry than Teeez Outta Control. Now I know why they named it this; truly earned its stripes all round.
Teeez Outta Control – a one-coater, but I used two. Second coat totally superfluous, but makes more of a sparkly blueberry-grape impression. This has larger scattered holo particles than Treasure, thus flashier. Brush is of a just-right trim and stiffness, making for phenomenal application. I feel more inclined to put it on my toes, but that would be a waste of a great color and formula…
Catrice Dirty Berry remains my number one in the purple holo department. It’s the only holo I wear as a full manicure and am not tempted to remove immediately due to self-consciousness…
